Storm in summer 2008
Storm is a white-factored, tri-factored sable merle rough collie. She has one naturally tipped ear, and one occasionally tipped! Storm has a perfect scissors bite and a moderate amount of coat which does not require much grooming to stay beautiful.

Mystery the "house chicken" walking on Storm :)
Storm is a very sweet, intelligent girl. She accepts treats with incredible gentleness. She often brings toys to us or our kids for tug-of-war or fetch. She will retrieve any object, no matter how many dogs are jumping all over her! She is tolerant of all living creatures, down to the smallest baby chick. She has never bothered our free-range poultry. We initially thought she didn't have much herding instinct, but we recently discovered that when we let the sheep out to graze in the yard, if we say "get the sheep" Stormy will move them right back into the pasture.

Storm tucked into bed
Storm loves children. When our kids were out of town visiting their grandma, Storm stood in the chair by the window each afternoon, waiting for them to come home from school. She can run incredibly fast, but also likes to cuddle on the couch. She is graceful and ladylike. She is calm in the car, in the house, and in any social situation on or off the farm. She loves candy corn!
Storm reminds us of the old time farmcollies in so many ways, and we feel very lucky to have her.
