Merlyn is the 50% European, blue merle son of Olinda and Duncan from the December 2013 litter. He lives a few minutes from us in Washougal and is a wonderful collie. He is gorgeous, calm and very kind and gentle with all other animals, dogs and people of all ages. Like his dam Olinda he is naturally obedient and very eager to please. He has the perfect amount of coat (in my opinion!), enough to be beautiful, but not enough to be difficult to care for. The texture is very correct--coarse and weather resistant, sheds dirt and mud and does not look soggy after he is out in the rain. As the son of Duncan, he is the grandson of my original two collies, Storm and Dandy. Looking forward to seeing his puppies very much!!
