Temperament
At Romany Collies we select for old-fashioned collie temperament and sensitivity, high intelligence and biddability. Our dogs live in our home and are part of our family. They are wonderful with other animals and with children of all ages.

Health
We do extensive health testing, as well as being mindful of health issues for which there are no tests, and our collies come with a five year guarantee against genetic health issues--which does not require you to return your dog to us.
All health testing is listed on the OFA website and all breeding dogs have CHIC numbers! |
Performance
Many Romany pups are enjoying success in performance events such as herding, obedience, rally and nosework. Several are working as service dogs and therapy dogs already, and hopefully the number will grow as more people learn how well-suited collies are to this type of work.
